No worries, I was able to rig up some generic prefilter. Looks like these are back ordered for a while.

K I need to pick your guys brain.

I wanna get rid of the goggle bag and put the early release vent in.

But I wanna ad some prefilter. So snow doesn't drop in the engine bay but heat can still escape.

I figured first I would cut a cardboard template, then cut my piece of fabric.

What glue should I use and how should I finish the edges?

Thx

Well that certainly won’t leak. Looked at mine again, and a gap opened up in the underside screen so taped it up for now. Pretty sure when I looked at previously that space wasn’t there, So thinking the plastics are getting warped. Maybe fit to the body is pushing them out or something. I set if the Sidewinder guys have the same issues?

Sidewinder guys have a foam in the airbox so I don't know if they are realizing what an issues this is.

Pop the guage cluster plastic off and take a serious look at this intake setup. It could save you some greif if your pistons skirts are already not scuffed.

The plastic housing that the v-screena clip into are not held in place by anything.
And ironically it is used to hold the goggle bag in place. If you push down on the goggle back it opens right up.

If you tape just the inside by the steering post it opens up at the front worse.

Which is what got me......

Mine looks perfectly fine, other than minor gaps that i taped it seems good, havent checked it since the last ride though and those were some tough miles put on in salmon

Did you check infront of the intake duct?
Big gap there.

Have you looked in through the y-pipe yet at your pistons?
