Works like a damn, funnest sled outta the box ive ever ridden, been riding with an 850 all year and power wise we have found no difference, no issues from the sled thus far, belt still looking new, 1400km now, rode in all sorts of conditions and not one hiccup

Would need to agree with TMO mine has been flawless all season. 800 miles and belt still looks brand new. as well riding with an 850 all season and its a wash on power between the two. and almost impossible to tell what is better side hilling because i cannot for the life of me ride the laydown steering to test it out haha. but all in all amazing sled, cant wait to see what my alpha is like.

Been a good sled.

Kinda ended up on this sled last minute.

She is a freak in the deep.Gets up on the snow fast. When you think your list stuck she will surprise you.

Sidehills like a goat.

If your into ski lift and wheelies probably not the sled for you.

She will climb a wall in both deep and hero snow.

Center of gravity is much lower on this sled than a g4 or axys so in low snow she does feel more planted. This is magnified by wrong air pressures in the shocks.

Off the get go there was fitment issues on the air intake. Which is a well known issue now and easy enough to fix.

Other issue I just had is a broken injector wire broke. It looks as if tho the installation tech gave the plug a twist.
1ft plug and play harness.

1500km no belt issues.

Next sled for me will either be an alpha or a 850 polaris. Or ride this one more year if no one buys it.

You should sell your skid and track and upgrade to the alpha skid. depending on what you are selling your sled for probably a cheaper route.

I agree, after being spoiled with narrow tunnel machines the Doo does feel fat between my legs. I was on Doo for many years so I would likely get used to it again. Can't imagine how short legged people deal with the Doo's girth but many do and don't complain.

The 16” track + outboard chain case + horrible brake location makes the Doo a sold 4-5 inches wider to stand on. I can’t understand how they can use a wider track and setup the brakes like that and not narrow up the chain case setup

So are you running the cat ones or the Racewerx ones?

(Can the cat ones only be used with a certain bumper?)

My brother ran racewerx they looked good but not the most durable. I had van amberg they didn’t look as good but worked great and we’re way stronger

Question. Does the 2018 Sno Pro have the dropped and rolled chain case like the Mountain Cat? If so I’m gonna buy that and save a few grand from the Mountain Cat.

Yep, all the 2018 m sleds do. Also the narrow body work, main difference between all the models are the shocks. Plus few things like the LED headlight on the Mtn Cat
Did you sell your cat? what did you think of it? Have you ridden a 850 ski doo? I need to make a choice and am finding it very hard , The weight of the cat , The skidoo glitches, man it's tough.

I wouldn't worry about the SkiDoo glitches. A pretty decent sled in the hands of riders who look after them. We are on the fourth one (G4's) and other than the one faulty motor, no issues in over 7400 km.Bow Ridge had a great deal on an SP when I was up at the open house. Get in touch with snopro and make a deal.
