Does anyone know if that new campground across the road from Collins mansion is finished?last July they were putting up the timber frames....and I can't find any information now, not even the name of it.
I wish I could help you Ronaha since I was just there last weekend looking at rocks, lakes and trees with no clue about camp spots since I find back-wood staging areas off grid for my pick-up truck/ sleeper set-up. Awesome area with lots too see and do. Lake is very quiet up that way with some nice beaches part way up.
Others will chime in with helpful info.

Thanks! Yup we spent a month there last summer, loved it,and with the heat and all of our gear,I'm trying to think of back up plans,Arrow lakes area is looking real good too!
Im a big fan of your thread!! The campground is a couple blocks away from the boat launch you were standing on, we are gunna call Daniels store tomorrow to see if they know. The pay phone at km 25 you were at is the only place from Seymour you can make a call and the 1200 road right there is awesome! Perry road was decommissioned but you can still take the gorge road it's awesome!!I agree Ronaha, been there a few times as you will see on the Lost in the West thread "last few pages".
So what side is this thing your looking for at Seymour-Arm ? I seen a few camp spots along the way up too Symour and might be able to Google map and earth it. Sounds like a nice place too see.

I'm sorry to hear that.It all adds up then, was it the guy who lands on top his cabin a block away? Thanks for the help the information would be great. Ron.I can get you contact info. It's a good buddy of mine that's building it but he crashed his helicopter last October near Saskatoon and unfortunately passed away so there was a bit of a delay. His son is now working on finishing it. I will send you a PM if you would like.
Yes same guy. Ya it was a sh!tty deal. He was a super good guy. We used to fly there out of spring bank and go sledding. Only way to travel. He would fly my wife and kids in when I was working up north. His death is a big loss to the community.I'm sorry to hear that.It all adds up then, was it the guy who lands on top his cabin a block away? Thanks for the help the information would be great. Ron.
