IPSC Alberta requires IPSC certified Range Officers. You have to be invited to become a Range Officer and must attend a two day course, then sucessfully show competence in Range Officer duties. To maintain your Range Officer status you then need to maintain 6 Points in a point system.

22LR are actually louder thatn you think. If you buy some subsonic 22LR they are somewaht quieter. I wouldln't recomment 22LR in a town setting.
