Pulled the chain case to get the secondary apart to do a little cleaning/maintenance and replace a bearing or 2, when i loosened off the chain the top gear nearly fell off, the bolt was less than finger tight. My splies on the end of the jackshaft are worn pretty bad and im thinking I need to...

We heard about the yammy getting stripped, what a chicken chit thing to do...really?? A riser off a guys mountain max??? Heard they stole the fuel too...id like to run into the donkeys that pull this crap and tape them to their machines with the throttle wide open. Pecker heads.
I was in last sunday and it was snowing pretty good, however, there needs to be about 3-4 more feet before it is worth riding in there. Willows are all still showing and even the creek just before the s turns at the border (crash creek) was a 3 foot drop into the creek. About 2 feet at border...
Not enough around town to ride, check out north east BC thread, Kakwa adn tumbler ridge if you want to ride. Kakwa is just opening up on Tuesday and hopefully the reports of good snow are true. I will be heading there Thursday and Friday. Its a 2 hr drive to the staging area if the road is in...
Heres a couple of the xp I just did, sly use of camera phone to disguise the shotty job I did. The work on this thread is incredible, I used the jewellers rouge bars 4 stage to get this and I will only do it once a year just becasue of the effort required. Also it passes the time till the snow...
No dice on the trip in last weekend, after talking with a buddy, found out anything beyond going to the falls was off limits, not worth the drive. Not to mention no one else wanted to head out. Looks like im gonna have to walk around with a -------- for another 10 days...
Only one of the Cabins at the lake is a public use cabin, the others are locked up for forrestry and parks. Dec 1st weekend should be pretty wide open for use tho. The only thing is there will be people in and out of the cabin during the day as it is the only warm up shack out there.
Last summer came across a couple caribou while quadding in nortthern b.c., couple years ago watched a group of about 10 to 12 caribou make their way across a ridge for about 45 minutes by the quintette coal mine near tumbler.
Canoe is a trail ride type of place. if you can get a hold of someone from around there, theres a pretty gnarly place to ride very close to there that mostly the locals and regulars ride, its a pretty technical trail into it and not really recommended for the faint of heart. Westridge i think...
still radio controlled, we have a bunch of fluid trucks running around out there right now, i think they are up past the corner tho. They are still on the narrow band channels as well, vector has the list.
The cabins are great for any type of group, I have stayed there a few times and nothing but good to say about the place. I dont know a bunch about riding right from the cabins, but if you call them they will be more than happy to fill you in. The owners are great people.
