I went riding on Friday and got to flat tires 30km back, no spare and had to drive out. Obviously destroyed the tires. They were old stockers anyway, not a big deal.
I have some friends in town and they want to go riding tomorrow (Sunday August 30th), so I picked up some new wheels and tires...
I know I have seen some posts about rebuilding primaries, but I need the bushings replaced in my 10.0 for my M7, or if someone has a good low mile 10.4 they want to get rid of I would be open to that as well.
Any freelance bodymen or a bodyman looking to make some extra cash on the side around the Airdrie area? I am building a race truck in my garage and I need some fiberglass work done. If you are interested please PM me.
Anybody here over 230lbs actually jump their sleds?
I am afraid to jump much more then the track barely off the ground in fear of bending the sh*t out of my sled. When I bought my sled the guy that owned it before me was ~170-180 ready to ride, the boards were straight and it was generally in...
I am considering ordering a new skidoo, however I have never bought a brand new sled, nor bought any brp parts. As such obviously I don't have any relationship established.
Like anyone I hate being raped. I am in Airdrie, but will pretty much go where ever in Alberta to get good service / price.

I have two sleds and these are the break downs:
-One makes ~170hp one makes ~140hp
-The 170hp one weighs about 570lbs ready to ride, the 140hp one weighs about 540lbs...
Just thought I would mention, that I picked up some recoil rope from Two Brothers Small Engines in the foothills industrial park, for ~ .090c/ft vs $2+/ft I was quoted from all the sled shops I called.
I know there are at least a few guys running wedges with rotax power. What are you guys doing for air filters?
I have some pods, but they hit the chassis, and the jack-shaft. Are the 15 degree angled ones enough to clear, or do I need to come up with something more creative?
This 2.75" O.D of...
Went riding out East of Ponoka today, and had to leave a sled behind. :(
Snow was good riding was good, on the way back in, I got it stuck in a drift, had made a couple attempts to get it out while I was waiting for some help. It was idling in the drift, help got there, started to shovel, and...
I have been using this site for sometime for tech (google keeps directing me here) so I figured I would sign up. Well that and I wanted to see the pics of MODMAN's wedge.
I live in Airdrie, summer ride is an '07 ktm 300xcw, wifes is an '01 xr250r. Winter ride is a mid 90's wedge, with a tiny...
