The RP Race pipe is in its own league of loud but adventurous snowbikers aren't willing to leave any HP on the table. I bring earplugs these days lol
Not sure how much you were pushing on the power paddle. I had the same issue last weekend on what I thought was a reasonable trail and found if I kept it to 45-50kph and stayed out of the pipe?boost it ran much much cooler.
You are on the right track for a cheap fix. I re-sprung the 4CS in my bike to the heaviest they can go without spring bind and swapped out oil to 15wt to slow everything down a bunch. Oil is super cheap and an easy thing to try. If your still having issues there's some DIY Trio build options out...
Kit is mint as I only rode it once. Comes complete as it would from dealer and still under warranty as its only 1 month old. Only rode it once and decided its not for me. All black kit

It can be done. I dont have a pic with the TS kit on the bike but there is plenty of room for it. Long box helps but not mandatory. For strapping down I used a super clamp on the sled and tied the bike the same as you would a dirt bike and then extra straps at the back
